Update on RVE Summit!
RV Entrepreneur Summit 2018. We’re hosting our next RV Entrepreneur Summit in Fredericksburg, TX again from Feb 22-25. We already have several speakers lined up and we’re releasing early bird tickets on August 9th. If you want to be the first to get access to those, you can go to therventrepreneur.com and enter your email. The marketing guy in the back of my mind wants to really push you guys and tell you that tickets will go fast, but I honestly think they will. We already opened up tickets to our attendees from last year and had 50 folks snag tickets in the first couple days. So I think we’ll have around 200 attendees this year.
Health insurance for RVers
Today on the podcast, I am interviewing Kyle Henson from the RVer Insurance Exchange and Locally Grown Marketing. Kyle has been fulltiming since 2011. In his travels, he realized a huge need for RVers, which is finding quality health insurance on the road. With a background in insurance, he started the RVer Health Insurance Exchange, built up the company, and recently sold it.
A few things we talk about on this episode:
- How to find health insurance for RVers
- How Kyle found a problem within RV community (healthcare), started an insurance exchange to solve it, and then sold it a few years later (all while traveling full-time)
- The deep relationships you cultivate while traveling full-time

Over the past year Alyssa and I have made more than $5,000 by renting out our RV on several occasions (holidays, out-of-RV vacations, etc). With Outdoorsy’s one-click insurance coverage and DMV background check for renters, it makes the entire process easy and fully insured.
As a renter, Outdoorsy also provides access to the greatest selection of recreational vehicles and more choices than ever before.Learn More
