RVE 0054: But Where Do You Poop? Thoughts on Being a Digital Nomad and Tiny Ass Living

This post may contain affiliate links. See our affiliate disclaimer here.

Today on the podcast, I am interviewing Adam Norrell from the Tiny Ass Camper blog.  Adam lives in a tiny ass 17 foot Casita trailer with his wife Jenn, their daughter Imogen, and their chihuahua Dakota. To fund their travel lifestyle, Adam works a full time job on the road.

A few things we talk about on this episode:

  • How to find a full-time remote position to fund your travel
  • How to stay connected to your team while working remotely
  • How much space do you really need in your RV and Adam’s thoughts on giving up his bathroom for a bit more freedom
  • Creating a balance between adventuring and working full time

  • Great conversation….some things that spur on the thinking.process. The portta pottie is something I’ve been use to since the 60’s (save about 10 or 11 when I had a class B)….and they work out great. Right now, as a single person….my camper is a Chrysler stow and go that holds a mini ice box (from the 70’s), a portta pottie, a cot and boxes that slide under the cot and hold cooking stuff, food, extra water, portable sink….and doggie necessities (I have two terriers, one Jack Russell and one Carin), and a folding table and chair for outside. It all fits, it all works out and I still have walking space which the dogs sleep in part of at night……and the front seats I use to set in when I want to read, eat or watch a movie…..if I’m not outside. Where there is a will, there is always a way of one kind or another.

    • Agreed. You can live in just about any kind of rig if you’re willing to make it work!
