One short year ago today we bought this beauty that we call our home.

  • 3 encounters with snow
  • $100 in parking tickets
  • 734 times Heath has hit his head on our slides (at least)

  • 1 time when Heath forgot to apply the parking brake when detaching our tow car which resulted in him being pinned between the car and the RV
  • 3 nights spent in Walmart parking lots
  • 2 nights spent in Cabela’s parking lots (which are way classier than Walmarts and have dump stations!)

Business-Related Achievements

  • 1 podcast launched
  • 32 podcast episodes released
  • 1 documentary edited and premier (EEEK!) Watch Hourly America here
  • 3 versions of Heath’s ebook, The RV Entrepreneur, released
  • Made our first consistent passive income from our website

We’ve been RVing for over two and a half years now and while there’s always more to learn, Heath and I feel like we’ve really got the hang of this whole RV thing. Or, at the very least, we haven’t blown up or wrecked an RV yet (knock on wood).

Year two in Merica will look a little different for us. We’re spending less time in Texas (or at least, that’s the plan) to tour the entire east coast and hopefully stay up north to catch the leaves change next fall. Plus, we’re trying new things like renting out our RV over the holidays and possibly a few renovation projects. 🙂

Thanks Merica for being such a super fun house on wheels. Here’s to year two with you! 🍾
